Alexandra Maria Lara, a Romanian and German actress working on TV and in films is well known for movies such as Rush and Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. Alexandra Maria Lara was born as the sole son of Romanian film actor Valentin Platareanu. In her early teens she portrayed the lead role in several television dramas. Her fame was due to her portrayal as a character in Der Tunnel. This paved for her to play other memorable performances, like Adolf Hitler's secretariat Traudl Junge. The Reader is another Oscar nominated film that features this stunning actress. Through the years, Alexandra has worked in several noteworthy national and international projects. The projects include British biographical film Control Greek dramatic film The Dust of Time French historical Miniseries Napoleon and many more. In addition, she is juror at both and the Transylvania International Film Festival and Cannes Film Festival.
