Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara is a Romanian German film and TV actress best known for her performances in films such as Downfall Youth Without Youth Control and Rush. Being the sole daughter of Romanian actress Valentin Platareanu, Alexandra began her showbiz career at a young age. Her roles included lead characters in television dramas from as early when she was just 16. She was praised for her part as a character in Der Tunnel. This paved for her to play other memorable roles, including Adolf Hitler's secretary of state Traudl Junge. The Reader, Der Baader Meinhof Komplex as well as The Reader are also Oscar-nominated movies featuring this actress. Alexandra has been involved in numerous notable projects both at home and abroad over time. For instance, the British biographical documentary Control the Greek film The Dust of Time, and the French history miniseries Napoleon are just a few of those. Also, she was on the jury of the Cannes Film Festival and the Transylvania International Film Festival.
